Two piston calipers over one pot will need more bias, more surface area for the fluid to push against.

Marcus can I give you a tip you dogged your dipstick up with silicone mate what you do when fitting o rings put silicon around the o ring it stops the o ring tearing when sliding it back into its housing

Nice upgrade. So awesome to have them donated. There’s some vacuum bleed kits for doing brakes. Ones hand pumped, and the one I have is air compressor driven. They both do an excellent job and both are available on Amaz0n. Really handy for when no one’s around.

Top tip.. push the brake pedal down with bit of wood or something and brake fluid will not come out when removing calipers/hoses etc.

When I put new brake fluid in I empty the system and flush it out like normal. Once the old fluid is out I run a pipe from the caliper back to the reservoir and you just pump the pedal and not worry about draining the fluid and getting more air in the system. Easy.

@marcushayesford Please wrap the electrical connector blocks and wires in rubber electrical tape before you drive it, to stop moisture from the road & weather causings shot circuits. Wow, you are operating a fuel system without ANY springclips, circlips or lockwires,... Do want a fire at some futre point when the rubber tubings start to age harden and crack ?? ..let alone having the fuel pump and fuel lines so far as of yet/then, loose for abuse - I severely hope you will or did secure everything tightly with clips, clamps, brackets, insulating tapes, stone & splashguards (for the openair underbody pump)etc..!?!

It's hard work having three old escorts it's Ford they do the one you need to do a good job on the one you are rebuilding and keep it and I would get rid of the other mk2 as the shell needs a lot of work now you're had your fun if I had the money I would of being a welder myself but it needs a lot of work if stuck strip the parts of it don't sell the mk1 or the other mk2 your rebuilding your the only one who can make you mind on it up keep strong you will sort everything out 👍

Revs hanging is due to coolant temp sencer with out doudt its all related to the sencer being loose

where has the lock nut gone on the air control valve on number 2 throttle body? Also if you are using a flammable liquid you should here the revs rise not lower when you find the leak?
